Re: here is a myth!Loki icon to shake things up

Sorry, just had to post. Because one of the most life-long arguements I've EVER had with my best friend is on just that topic. *flails*.

If someone tied down my kid and stuck a sword through his mouth for all eternity?

The End of the World? It WOULD be happening for them. And that's not getting into what they did to the rest of the kids.

(Also, I have a soft spot for the idea that (besides poetic justice for his own children) Loki's real goal in killing Baldur was that Hel had a *little* crush on him :P.)

And I don't think ANY of the other wives would have stayed for eternity in that cave. I mean, at that point she really could have just left him, and she DIDN'T. Which says something about their relationship XD.

If you're interested, Eric Flint and David Freer have a pretty amazing story that involves a mostly!Good Loki, Pyramid Power. Also, you get a seriously cool Out for Revenge Sigyn XD. After what they did to Nagi, she's going to stand by her man and if taking that revenge means Ragnarok, so be it. Favorite conversation:

"
Thrud blinked. "I love you too, Uncle Fox. But I'm grown up now. I can look after myself."
"Its a matter of opinion," said loki, raising an eyebrow.
"Coming from you, who never thinks of consequences until its too late, that's a bit rich."
Loki chuckled. "I'm an experienced expert on bad decisions. Besides, I was always better at looking after others than myself."

(also? Thor is Jormungand's drinking buddy, and on their side XD).
