Set...vaguely some time after canon, I guess? Naruto and Sasuke are who-knows-where. Somewhere not in this fic. It's not really important.

But it is related to this. Kinda. Sorta. But not really, since the Sakura in this piece is a lot more ~~evil~~ kick-ass than the Sakura in that other piece. >]

'Still On The Horizon' - KakaSaku

More KakaSaku. That and DeiSaku seem to be the pairings of choice for my muse these days. Not that that's a bad thing. :3

...What with Sasuke being a moron of late ~~and Deidara being dead~~ and Naruto just...being Naruto, I'm really starting to wish that this was a viable canon pairing...and I think that shows here. It feels sad to me, and yet not at all without hope.

Kakashi/Rin is apparently my current pairing obsession. That being said, I'm not quite sure why my brain decided I should write Kakashi/Sakura instead, even if I suppose it's technically not really Kakashi/Sakura.

But damn, I've been wanting to write something for this pairing for ages, and as always, it feels amazingly good to break free of semi-writer's block and write something in one sitting, so I'm not complaining.
